Course Overview

This course provides experienced Linux operations teams the tools and information needed to install, monitor, manage, and troubleshoot issues in a self-managed, on-premises installation of Edge. Attendees learn the key factors and considerations in designing and installing a highly available, scalable Apigee on-premises instance, and how to secure, monitor and manage the Apigee system to ensure availability. Attendees also learn how Apigee supports disaster recovery through active-active or active-standby configurations.


Experienced Linux operations teams who will be installing, monitoring, managing and troubleshooting an on-premises installation of Edge. At the conclusion of this course, attendees have a clear understanding of how to implement and manage Apigee’s products in an existing on-premises enterprise Linux environment to meet technical, security, and business continuity requirements.

Course Pre Requisites

  • Foundational Training (eLearning) Technology
  • Familiarity with Linux, JavaScript, curl command, HTTP, TCP/IP, Linux networking, load balancing, Bash, and rewalls. Hardware/software requirements: The course requires that attendees have an SSH client and laptop.
